Job Description

Key Responsibilities Radiology Duties:
Perform routine diagnostic X-ray procedures (e.g., chest, extremities, skeletal imaging) as ordered by providers Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and radiation safety protocols Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including routine quality checks and troubleshooting Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation Maintain accurate imaging records in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
Medical Assistant Duties:
Room patients, obtain vitals, and document chief complaints in EMR systems Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and patient care as needed Administer injections, medications, and perform venipuncture/blood draws (if applicable) Support wound care, suture/staple removal, and basic clinical procedures Prepare and clean exam rooms; ensure proper stocking of medical supplies Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care Qualifications Certification as a Limited or Full X-Ray Technician (State of California preferred) Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience Current BLS/CPR certification Experience performing radiographic imaging in a clinical or outpatient setting Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation Preferred Skills Strong patient care and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols Experience supporting both radiology and back-office clinical functions Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced, handling approximately 230 patients daily. You will work with a partner in a supportive setting. Our facility is a two-story building, home to a minimum of seven providers. We emphasize work-life balance, offering flexibility in scheduling. We have five offices in the county, and after one year, you may transfer to another location with a six-week notice. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. We offer performance-based salary increases and end-of-year bonuses Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
