Peninsula Urgent Care is seeking a combo X-ray Technologist Medical Assistant (XTMA) to join our team. Our urgent care facility thrives on providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community, and we need an individual who shares our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
X-ray Services :
Perform high-quality radiographic imaging with attention to safety and accuracy, following all relevant protocols and standards.
Patient Interaction :
Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit, providing clear instructions and answering any questions they may have.
Medical Assistance :
Support healthcare providers by performing clinical duties such as taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and administering basic patient care.
Administrative Duties :
Assist with front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Team Collaboration :
Work closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications :
Certification :
Valid X-ray Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent) and Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred.
Experience :
Previous experience in an urgent care or similar fast-paced healthcare environment is a plus. Any EMR experience.
Skills :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
