Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care in a fast-paced clinic environment. We offer on-site diagnostics, bilingual staff, and a full suite of occupational health services. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated X-Ray Technologist / Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This dual-role position supports both our occupational medicine and urgent care services, working closely with physicians to ensure excellent patient care and efficient clinic flow. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a high-volume setting, knowledgeable in workers' compensation protocols, and able to perform a range of both imaging and medical assisting duties. Key Responsibilities X-Ray / Imaging Perform digital X-rays of the spine, extremities, and chest per physician order Position patients safely and accurately for high-quality diagnostic images Medical Assisting Room patients, obtain vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and wound care Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care lab testing as directed Administer injections and medications per physician order and scope of practice Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patients Occupational Health / Compliance Conduct DOT and non-DOT urine drug screens (observed/unobserved) per federal and state protocol Perform Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) using approved evidential breath testing devices Maintain chain-of-custody documentation with accuracy and strict confidentiality Assist with pre-employment, return-to-duty, and follow-up testing programs for employer clients Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary healthcare training preferred Current California Limited X-Ray Technologist certificate (chest, spine, and/or extremities) OR full Radiologic Technologist license (CRT/ARRT) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or equivalent clinical experience Proficiency with digital X-ray equipment and
PACS/EHR
systems Phlebotomy skills and experience with POC testing Excellent communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Preferred Skills & Certifications DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification (Can provide training if not certified) Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) certification (Can provide training if not certified) Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required or must obtain within 30 days of hire Schedule & Compensation Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week Monday-Friday clinic hours with flexibility based on patient volume Weekend on-call rotation: approximately one weekend per month (compensated) Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and certifications
