Job Description

Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging by providing critical diagnostic support as a CT Technologist. Utilize your expertise in both CT and X-ray procedures to perform a vital role within a busy clinical environment. Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification (CT and Radiography) Active state licensure for radiologic technologists Proven experience performing both CT and X-ray imaging procedures Knowledge of PACS, RIS, and current imaging protocols Strong understanding of patient safety and infection control standards Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing clinical demands
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct CT and conventional X-ray exams as ordered by referring physicians Ensure precise image acquisition per protocol and provider specifications Thoroughly explain procedures and address patient concerns or questions Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely forwarding of images for interpretation Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed Follow all radiation safety and regulatory compliance guidelines Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care Assist with workflow efficiency in the imaging department Why consider this opportunity?
