1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Tech/X-ray Tech Combo for a busy Level III Trauma Center, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience including 6 months in CT. Details Work at an acute care hospital with 49 staffed beds, operating as a Level III Trauma Center Combined CT and X-ray technologist role covering CT imaging and diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and surgery (OR) cases Daily caseload of 35-50 patients per tech Performs all CT exams offered at the facility; cardiac CT is not currently performed X-ray work includes OR cases with a strong focus on orthopedic and pain management procedures Breast radiologist on-site Mondays and Tuesdays; interventional radiologist on-site Thursdays and Fridays MediTech used for charting Schedule includes a mix of 10-hour day shifts: Sundays 8:00 AM-6:30 PM with call, Mondays and Tuesdays 12:00 PM-10:30 PM, and Wednesdays 9:00 AM-7:30 PM; schedule may vary based on coverage needs On-call is required, including rotating Friday call approximately every 8th week; weekends may occur due to call Contract length is 18-26 weeks based on candidate preference May float within CT and X-ray scope to meet facility needs, and may float to a sister facility approximately 15 minutes away if needed Block schedule (M-F) can be accommodated Requirements ARRT certification with CT specialty required Minimum of 1 year of experience overall, with at least 6 months of CT experience X-ray experience required Current BLS required
