Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in MRI imaging to a dynamic clinical environment as a vital member of a specialized medical imaging team. In this role, you will utilize advanced MRI equipment to perform detailed diagnostic scans, supporting physicians in delivering outstanding patient care. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest quality imaging and patient experience.
Requirements:
Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Strong foundation in MRI imaging procedures and safety protocols Experience operating MRI scanners and related medical imaging equipment Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care during imaging Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as it relates to diagnostic imaging Excellent attention to detail and commitment to image quality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience in a similar clinical setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI examinations as ordered by medical staff Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort and safety during scans Monitor and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any malfunctions Review images for clarity and diagnostic value before forwarding to physicians Maintain comprehensive patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines Uphold all safety standards, including screening patients for contraindications to MRI Assist with patient education regarding the imaging process and address concerns Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to facilitate efficient workflow
