Job Description
Provides mammography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their mammography needs. Participates in CQI/PI activities. Previous experience in mammography required. Graduate from an accredited program in radiologic technology. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R) (ARRT) and registered mammography technologist by the ARRT. Current BCLS certification. Thorough knowledge of radiologic terminology, practices and procedures, physiology and human anatomy. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Strong computer skills. Keep in compliance with the ACR and MQSA.
