1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Diagnostic imaging department, women's health section of radiology Performs diagnostic mammography procedures for radiologist interpretation Day shift schedule Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS systems is beneficial Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M) Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist State license required if applicable DOB and SSN may be required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for the daily operations of the women's health mammography section, including QA, preventative maintenance scheduling, and regulatory compliance Maintains accurate patient records in EHR and ensures all necessary documentation is complete prior to submitting procedures for radiologist interpretation Adheres to FDA guidelines for the mammography section and ALARA radiation safety standards May assist in other imaging modalities and cross-training opportunities available in CT, MRI, and DEXA Assists with training and development of imaging staff in breast imaging specialties Holiday coverage may be required Local candidates are accepted
