Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' anatomy. Monitor patients during scans and communicate any issues or concerns to supervising physicians. Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring diagnostic quality. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with MRI procedures. Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide education and support to patients regarding MRI procedures and protocols. Follow all MRI safety guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate's degree required. Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. Must have a current license in the State of Colorado. ARRT Registry in Radiology (MR) (Required)
Current BLS Compensation:
$38.00- $43.70 per hour, depending on education and experience. Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
