Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a collaborative healthcare environment where your expertise in MRI technology will make a difference in patient diagnostics and care. Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Demonstrated competency in operating MRI equipment and performing routine and specialized scans Strong understanding of MRI safety procedures for both patients and staff Previous work experience in a clinical imaging environment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and medical staff Ability to adapt quickly to new protocols and technologies Detail-oriented approach to managing patient records and scan documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI scanners to perform high-quality imaging studies as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols Screen patients and staff for MRI safety and contraindications Accurately maintain patient imaging records and document scan details within hospital systems Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare providers to relay scan findings and address any procedure-related concerns Perform routine equipment checks and participate in quality assurance initiatives Contribute to maintaining a safe and sanitized work environment This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced imaging professionals and leverage state-of-the-art technology.
