Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An excellent opportunity awaits for a skilled MRI Technologist eager to contribute expertise within a dynamic imaging department. This contract position focuses on advanced MRI procedures and offers a summer schedule ideal for achieving work-life balance.
Schedule/Hours:
3 days per week: Wednesday through Friday 12-hour day shifts No call or weekend requirements
Qualifications:
ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent credentialing in MRI technology Demonstrated experience in clinical MRI, including knowledge of safety protocols and patient positioning Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team Ability to adapt to a fast-paced imaging environment
Responsibilities:
Perform a range of MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and department guidelines Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring safety and comfort Accurately document and verify patient histories and exam information Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic images Maintain MRI equipment and assist with daily quality control checks Consistently adhere to infection control and patient privacy regulations
