Interventional Radiology Tech

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional to provide critical support as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a hospital imaging department. In this contract position, you'll contribute to both vascular and neuro interventional procedures, collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (40 hours per week) On-call every other weekend and rotating call Monday through Friday On-call requirement for one holiday if it falls during your contract

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Demonstrated expertise in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology cases—neuro experience is essential Certification and credentials consistent with state and national standards for IR Technologists Commitment to patient safety and exceptional procedural outcomes Adaptability and willingness to collaborate with various medical professionals Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with EPIC, Synapse, and StarTrack healthcare technology (training available for candidates new to these platforms)

Role Responsibilities:

Assist with and perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures, with a strong focus on neuro interventions Ensure accurate imaging and documentation during procedures Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure continuity of care Respond efficiently to on-call emergencies and scheduled cases as needed This opportunity allows you to work hands-on with advanced interventional radiology cases while expanding your expertise in a supportive environment.
