Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting young learners with autism in a highly specialized educational setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional in a dedicated Autism Program serving children ages 5-6 with significant needs. This one-month assignment is designed to provide continuity of care while permanent hires are onboarded, providing the opportunity to be a key part of student progress and stability.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active RBT Certification or an active CT Para Certification with proven Autism Program experience Demonstrated experience working with children with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), preferably in a classroom environment Skilled in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of BCBA/educational staff Comfortable assisting with and supporting toileting and personal hygiene, including diaper changes Calm, compassionate, and patient demeanor, with strong communication skills Reliable for a full-time, onsite schedule (35 hours/week) Commitment to working onsite in a specialized classroom setting
Key Responsibilities:
Support implementation of behavior and learning plans for young students with ASD Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other team members to ensure program consistency Assist students with daily living skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation Accurately record data on behaviors, progress, and interventions Foster a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment for all students Enjoy the rewards of a structured, purpose-driven assignment where your skills directly shape young lives.
