Qualifications:
Proficient in operating MRI equipment and related imaging technology Certified by ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) No Connecticut state radiology license required Strong communication and patient care abilities Keen attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols precisely Previous experience in an acute care, hospital, or outpatient imaging setting is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures Operate MRI equipment for quality diagnostic imaging, following established protocols Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to facilitate timely diagnostic information Adhere to all safety standards, including infection control measures and MRI-specific safety policies Assist with equipment maintenance and contribute to a high-functioning clinical environment
