Per Hr Description:
We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist for a full-time position in Fairfield, CT. This role involves conducting MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to assist with special procedures. Candidates should be familiar with general imaging technologies.
Requirements:
Perform MRI procedures with high quality and care. Escort patients to dressing and procedure rooms. Explain MRI procedures and address patient questions. Maintain and adhere to MRI safety guidelines. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Administer I.V. contrast when required. Monitor equipment and report malfunctions.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree or equivalent 2-year college or technical school. 6-12 months of experience and/or training preferred. ARRT (R) certification required. ARRT (R)(MRI) certification preferred.
