Job Summary:
Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a part-time Float Radiologic Technologist to join our exceptional care team. In this role, you will float between Essex, Branford, Madison, Guilford, contributing to high‑quality patient care across our practice.
Essential Responsibilities:
Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient's illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience
Skills and Abilities:
The ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care A positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor Ability to maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements
Education & Experience Requirements:
Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut. New Grads welcome to apply Having worked in an EMR/EHR considered a plus Work Environment and Schedule Primary location in Hamden, CT This is a float position and requires reliable personal transportation for travel between locations.
