Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced MRI Technologist with a passion for delivering high-quality imaging care. This contract role focuses on providing advanced MRI services in a dynamic clinical environment, working with state-of-the-art technology and an expert support team.
Schedule/Hours:
3:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday through Friday Guaranteed 35 hours per week
Qualifications:
Certification by ARRT or ARMRIT (either credential is acceptable) Previous experience specifically with Hitachi MRI equipment is required Imaging proficiency, with hands-on skills in MRI scanning and protocols No state license required for this position Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clinical staff and patients Keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety
Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility standards Operate Hitachi MRI systems, maintaining safety and accuracy throughout each procedure Screen patients prior to imaging for safety, obtain consent, and explain procedures Document and maintain accurate patient records and scans within the imaging system Communicate effectively regarding imaging findings or concerns with radiologists and other healthcare professionals Uphold infection control procedures and maintain the cleanliness of the imaging suite
