Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging as an MRI technologist, utilizing your expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) within a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to provide critical imaging services during afternoon and evening hours.
Schedule:
2:30 PM - 10:00
PM Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program Valid ARMRIT or ARRT certification required No Connecticut state radiology license necessary Demonstrated proficiency operating MRI equipment and following safety protocols Strong communication skills and attention to detail Experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and established guidelines Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Review imaging results for clarity and accuracy before submitting for physician review Maintain equipment cleanliness and conduct pre/post-procedure checks Document patient information and procedures accurately in health records Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other team members for optimal patient care
