Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Step into an essential role as a skilled Mammo Tech, applying your imaging expertise in a busy diagnostic mammography environment. This contract opportunity focuses solely on mammography—no biopsy procedures required—enabling you to concentrate on delivering accurate, compassionate imaging care.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday 4x10 hour shifts available, offering flexibility to fit your lifestyle
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Mammography Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Mammography Technologist; additional experience highly valued Proficiency operating Hologic imaging equipment Strong communication skills, with a focus on patient comfort and safety Detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mammographic procedures independently, ensuring clear, diagnostic-quality images Maintain accurate patient records and follow documentation protocols Operate Hologic equipment efficiently and monitor for quality control Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative setting Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout their procedures Adhere to facility policies, radiation safety best practices, and regulatory requirements
