Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled professional specializing in imaging as a Cath Lab Technologist. The role is based in a cardiac catheterization laboratory and focuses on providing high-quality, invasive cardiovascular care alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm On-call rotation every other weekend and every third weekend Additional on-call requirement for two weekdays each week
Qualifications:
Current certification as RT(R) or RCIS required Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech with strong imaging skills Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor during exams Operate imaging and monitoring equipment safely and accurately Assist physicians throughout invasive cardiovascular procedures Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to strict infection control protocols Confirm accurate patient identification and documentation in compliance with hospital policies Respond promptly and professionally while on call, providing expert coverage as needed
