is an ABA agency in Brookfield CT that is dedicated to providing high quality ABA services to families with neurodiverse children. We are looking for two part-time Behavioral Therapists for in-home sessions with our client, in
Norwalk, CT:
Monday-Friday 4:00 PM-7:00 PM (earlier hours available during the summer) Saturday-Sunday 10AM-2:00PM. We love what we do and are looking for people to join our growing team who are: Passionate about teaching Fun and energetic Motivated to learn and grow their skillsets Interested in a rewarding career working with children and adolescents with special needs. Responsibilities of include but are not limited to: Helping clients learn new skills by Implementing principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Record data on behaviors and graph data. Work collaboratively with supervisors when client challenges arise. Collaborate with the supervisory team to help prepare client documents and progress reports. Follow all policies and procedures as indicated by our code of conduct and employee handbook. Interacts in a positive and professional manner with clients, families and colleagues Maintains clean and orderly environment Assist with Community Internship and Daily living skills Position Requirements Must undergo a full criminal history background check & clearance Demonstrate a strong work ethic Record data in a timely and accurate manner Review data regularly and notify supervisors of relevant information or changes Learn to apply strategies based in ABA Must have consistent modes of travel to assigned clients Physical Demands Agility to respond quickly to challenging behaviors which may include swift movement This position may require some sitting, standing, walking Qualifications Available 5 days per week to work with a client in Norwalk, CT Prior experience working with special-needs children (preferred) RBT certification (preferred, but can be earned with us) English/Spanish speaking (required) BACB Fieldwork and RBT Supervision We offer all employees free training and ongoing supervision for the RBT credential, required within 6 months of employment. Supervised Fieldwork Hours are available, please inquire if pursuing fieldwork
