Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into an essential imaging role at a busy short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds. This opportunity is designed for skilled MRI Technologists seeking a dynamic environment, working 40 hours weekly on evening shifts from 2:15 PM to 11:15 PM. Enjoy a set 5x8 schedule with rotation through weekends and holidays, and the opportunity to float as needed between two facilities.
Schedule/Hours:
5x8 evening shifts: 2:15 PM - 11:15 PM Rotating weekends and holidays 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
Certification in MRI Technology required Previous experience in MRI imaging Flexibility to float between sites as operational needs arise Comfort working in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment Proficiency with EPIC charting systems preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team Local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible
Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality MRI scans following strict protocols and patient safety guidelines Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information using the EPIC system Support physicians and other medical staff in the diagnosis and care of patients Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout the procedure Maintain MRI equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams as needed Adapt workflow as you float between designated sites to meet patient and facility needs
