Job Description

Field Service Mechanic Our Client is seeking a Field Service Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated machinery and systems. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime, while meeting quality and schedule standards. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and test automation machinery to meet performance criteria. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues. Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance. Support engineers and communicate issues promptly to supervisors. Maintain accurate service records and requisition necessary components. Train technicians and operators on equipment and processes. Promote teamwork, maintain a clean work area, and adhere to safety and quality procedures. Participate in continuous improvement and job review activities. Requirements Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems. Skilled in troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and technical communication. Ability to manage schedules, travel up to 75% (domestic/international), and respond to service needs on short notice. Valid driver's license and US passport required. Physical & Work Environment Regular use of hands, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and good vision/coordination. Exposure to moving parts and moderate noise. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. onsite; hours may vary for service calls and overtime. Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma required. Associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred. Prior experience as a Service Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus.
