Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging as an experienced MRI Technologist at a busy short-term acute care Level III trauma center. This contract role offers the chance to work with advanced imaging equipment and a dedicated clinical team, delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Five 8-hour evening shifts per week (14:15 - 23:15) Rotating weekends and holidays 40 hours weekly
Qualifications & Experience:
Certified MRI Technologist (national certification required; state licensure not required) Prior experience with MRI procedures in a healthcare setting Proficiency with EPIC charting system strongly preferred Ability to float between sites as needed and adapt to varied workflows Strong patient communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI imaging examinations following department protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide timely, accurate diagnostic results Maintain thorough and accurate records within the EPIC electronic health record system Provide service at multiple centers as required, supporting continuity of care Adhere to facility guidelines and infection control standards, especially in a trauma center environment Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including participation in holidays and weekend rotations
