Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician with at least one-year experience with C-ARM imaging and OR experience to join our team.
Duties X-ray Technician:
Properly utilizes C-arm and other x-ray equipment Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety Review and evaluate images for quality and clarity Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information Follow safety protocols and adhere to radiation protection guidelines Provide compassionate care to patients during procedures
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology Proficiency in medical terminology Experience in various medical imaging techniques Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting X-ray equipment and MRI equipement Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
Requirements:
Experience with Ortho and Spine imaging Valid certification as an X-ray Technician Holds an active X-Ray license in the state of Florida Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Graduate of 24 month AMA approved School of Radiology Technology 12-24 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality ARRT certification in Radiology IV credentialed if applicable ARRT certification in MR technology BLS certification
