Interventional Radiology Technologist Premier Vascular & Interventional Lake Worth, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Per diem $39 - $42 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Anatomy knowledge Medical procedure assistance Ultrasound imaging Image acquisition for patient care Medical equipment operation BLS Certification Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures Diagnostic radiology Hospital radiation policies X-ray Aseptic technique ARRT Certification Medical terminology Radiation protection measures Full Job Description We are looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for an immediate opening, which requires travel to various locations within Palm Beach County. The IR Tech should have at least 1 year minimum of recent sterile/scrubbing experience and be able to function independently. As the IR Tech, you would be responsible for operating the fluoroscopic equipment (C arm) and assisting the physician with minimally invasive, image guided procedures.
Procedure examples would include:
angiograms, embolizations, port insertions, PICC line placements, etc. Must be familiar with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, laser/atherectomy, & IVUS.
Requirements:
Demonstrates a vast knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Perform Diagnostic patient imaging using radiology equipment. Provide assistance during Fluoroscopy procedures utilizing sterile technique by scrubbing in to assist the Physician. Practice Radiation Safety Standards Must have BLS and Florida Licensure. Certificate of Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiology (CI) preferred. Meet all continuing education to maintain licensure.
Pay:
$39.00 - $42.00 per hour
