Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled MRI technologist to provide advanced imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position plays a key role in delivering patient-centered diagnostic imaging and requires a strong technical background in MRI modalities.
Schedule:
Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (not rotating) Three 12-hour shifts: 7:30am - 8:00pm
Qualifications:
Current State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification — ARMRIT not accepted Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, with diploma or official transcripts available At least one year of hands-on MRI experience in a clinical environment Ability to demonstrate a patient-focused attitude and high attention to safety and infection control standards Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team setting Applicants cannot be permanent residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians Accurately position patients for imaging procedures and provide clear instructions to ensure patient safety Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality during all procedures Adhere to established safety protocols, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements Verify patient identification and imaging orders; manage technical data entry into the imaging system Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding patient imaging results and workflow
