Conduct quality assurance checks by verifying adherence to specifications during production processes involving surface mount technology and mechanical assembly. Collect data systematically during inspections to support analysis, trending, and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Extensive knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, particularly in Digital Radiography using X-ray technology. Strong understanding of ASME codes & NADCAP standards related to radiographic inspection and quality assurance. Proficiency with schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams for accurate interpretation during inspections. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, soldering tools, and other precision measuring instruments. Mechanical knowledge applicable to manufacturing processes including surface mount technology, assembly, and quality control procedures. Ability to collect, analyze, and document inspection data efficiently for quality inspection reports. Familiarity with quality assurance practices including defect detection, root cause analysis, and process improvement strategies.
