This sought-after travel opportunity provides imaging professionals with a chance to hone their skills in a region known for its rich diversity and lively energy. As an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech, you'll enhance your expertise while collaborating with a dedicated team that values innovation and high-quality patient care. This role's environment welcomes you into a dynamic special procedures unit, utilizing state-of-the-art Philips IR Tables, and offers experience with specialized procedures such as Y90 treatments, prostate embolism, tunneled catheters, thoracentesis, and paracentesis. Document your work within the Meditech system alongside a seasoned group of 8 staff members who exemplify professional excellence and teamwork. A unique aspect is the on-call requirement for one week each month, providing exposure to a broader range of cases and strengthening your adaptability.
Schedule/Hours:
1 week of on-call duties each month
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Active ARRT registration Prior exposure to fast-paced units or travel assignments preferred Outstanding ability to work independently and integrate quickly with new teams Flexible and proficient in adapting to various clinical settings
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of special IR procedures, ensuring precise, safe, and compassionate care Operate and maintain Philips IR Table and related equipment Accurately document all procedures in Meditech Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary staff to enhance patient outcomes
