Job Description

MRI Technologist Job Summary Emerald Coast Neurology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. MRI Technologist Duties and Responsibilities information Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable Insert IVs when necessary for the test MRI Technologist Requirements and Qualifications BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
MRI Technologist Requirements and Qualifications Pay:
$37.00 - $40.00 per hour
