Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Radiology Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in diagnostic radiology procedures, including x-ray's. This role requires a professional committed to delivering precise imaging services within a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring accurate diagnostic evaluation while maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient care. The Certified Radiology Technologist will play a vital role in supporting urgent care contributing to timely and effective patient diagnosis. Responsibilities Perform X-ray, with precision and attention to detail. Operate complex imaging equipment in compliance with manufacturer guidelines while troubleshooting technical issues as needed. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluation by providing high-quality images for interpretation. Maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and technical data in accordance with regulatory standards. Educate patients about procedures to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation during imaging sessions. Uphold safety standards related to radiation exposure by applying ALARA principles (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and monitoring equipment settings diligently. Qualifications Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Demonstrated proficiency in operating diverse imaging modalities of X-ray. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to radiology and diagnostic evaluation processes. Ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere strictly to safety protocols during all procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff while providing compassionate care. Pay:
$30.00 - $31.00 per hour
