Job Description

Full-time position available in Tallahassee, Florida for a Radiology Technologist to work under the direction of the Radiology supervisor. Position will work in both Tallahassee clinic locations. Travel is required to regional offices as needed.
Duties include:
operating radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes, to include C-Arm equipment; adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of the specified body area; operating equipment at the computer console for storage, transfer, playback data, and generating images; assuring patient safety and satisfaction; positioning patients on examining table; explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtaining patient cooperation and confidence; examining radiology film for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Applicants must have advanced knowledge of anatomy, medical terms, and radiology equipment. Position requires successful completion of an accredited radiology program, v alid Florida license as a Radiology Technologist, and registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT).
