Job Description
Department MRI VNA Job Summary Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention and utilize magnetic fields to produce quality MR imaging. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Required Qualifications
- Require Registered, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist MRI (R)(MR)(ARRT) certification and active State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
- OR•Require graduate of an accredited American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT) certification program and Registered, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist MRI (MR)ARRT) certification.
