Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical terminology, and anatomy, with experience in various imaging modalities including C- Arm scans. This role requires a professional committed to providing high-quality diagnostic evaluation in a fast-paced healthcare environment, preferably with experience in emergency medicine and trauma centers. The position offers an opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to patient care and diagnostic excellence. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as C-Arm with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and ensure images are of high quality for diagnostic purposes. Operate imaging equipment following aseptic techniques and radiation safety standards. Monitor patients during procedures Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and compliant with regulatory standards. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to provide optimal patient care. Requirements Certification as an X-Ray Technician (ARRT or equivalent) with valid state licensure. Proven experience in radiology, including C-Arm Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures is highly desirable. Experience working in surgery center settings, or hospitals. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely using aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in Surgery Center environments while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
