Day shift: Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am-7:00pmKey Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited program in Medical Technology ARMRIT Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT-MR (ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 1 year of successful MRI experience and completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R Exceptional communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills Competence in MRI techniques, patient positioning, pulse sequence parameters, anatomy, pathology, and magnet safetyCore Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality MRI exams per department protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout Prepare and administer contrast as needed, respecting all safety guidelines for dosage and patient evaluation Organize workflow efficiently to accommodate patients and departmental demands Independently manage all aspects of MRI imaging, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting Clearly explain procedures, address patient questions using the AIDET framework, and participate in training of other employees Maintain proper documentation, quality control standards, and compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Support patient care including transport, positioning, pre- and post-procedural duties, and use of immobilization devices as necessary Remain adaptable, assisting with on-call responsibilities and cross-functional team support as neededBenefits and Travel Perks:
