Position Purpose:

Mammography Technologist Fulltime Float position with St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA $5,000

•Sign on Bonus. This position will float between St Mary's Hospital Mammo Department and our other outpatient Facilities. This float colleague performs bone density exams, screening and diagnostic mammograms, as well as stereotactic biopsies.

What you will do:

Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists. Maintains technical competency through continued education. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members. Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality. Enters patient's questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into Epic system.

What you will need:
Licensure/Certification/Registration :

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced registry in mammography required. Continuing education credits in Mammography required.

Education :

Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school

Experience:

Two years mammography experience preferred.
