Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A 12-hour Day Shift CT Technologist opportunity is available in Byron, GA on a contract basis. This role is suited for a skilled professional with a minimum of 4 years' experience in CT imaging, proficient in CT/PET technology, and certified by ARRT (CT) along with BLS certification. Experience with IV starts and handling a diverse patient population including inpatients, outpatients, and ER cases is essential. Responsibilities include operating advanced imaging equipment such as GE scanners and Philips PACS, working within the
EPIC EMR
system, and contributing to an inclusive department culture at a Level 1 Trauma Designation teaching hospital. This facility also supports specialized care as a Chest Pain and Stroke Center with a census of approximately 100 patients per day.
Shift Details & Schedule:
Days:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Hours:
9:00 AM to 9:30 PM 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week No weekend rotation, no call, but 75% holiday coverage required Contract length: 13 weeks
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum 4 years of CT technologist experience ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required Proficient in IV starts Experience with
EPIC EMR, GE
scanners, Philips PACS Ability to work in inpatient and ER settings as needed
Additional Information:
Orientation includes a New Employee Orientation (NEO) plus 1-day departmental orientation Parking available for a biweekly fee Black scrubs required Manager approval needed for return-to-office requests
