Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a key support role as an Imaging - MRI Technologist, where your expertise helps deliver high-quality patient care and advanced imaging diagnostics. This contract position provides the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art MRI equipment in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on excellence and patient comfort.
Key Qualifications:
Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proven experience performing MRI scans and working in a clinical imaging setting Proficiency with MRI machinery and safety procedures Strong understanding of current imaging techniques and protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and facility protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort Operate MRI equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and maintain imaging quality standards Accurately document procedures, patient records, and scan results Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes Adhere to all radiation safety and infection control protocols Provide clear pre- and post-scan instructions to patients and their families
