This contract role requires a skilled professional who can deliver excellence in MRI procedures, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort throughout the imaging process.
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT (MRI) certification required Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology Minimum of one year of recent experience in MRI imaging Proficient in operating MRI equipment and digital imaging systems Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols for patients and staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible scheduling may be available depending on facility needs Shift details provided during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols Position patients properly for imaging studies and monitor patients throughout procedures Calibrate and operate MRI equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procedures conducted Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients before, during, and after scans Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members Uphold the highest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality
