Contract position, with reliable and consistent shifts provided.
Key Qualifications:
Certification and registration as an MRI Technologist. Proficiency in MRI imaging protocols and equipment operation. Previous experience in a medical imaging setting, especially with MRI procedures. Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work well independently and collaboratively. Commitment to accuracy, safety, and patient comfort at all times.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Prepare and position patients for imaging, providing explanations to alleviate concerns and ensure comfort. Operate MRI equipment effectively, ensuring high-quality imaging results. Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures and observations. Prioritize patient safety by adhering to safety guidelines regarding MRI equipment and screening. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to support comprehensive patient care.
