Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Make a difference by providing advanced imaging care as an experienced Radiology Technologist. This weekend role is ideal for professionals passionate about delivering excellent diagnostic services.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. No on-call duties required.
Essential Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required Proven experience operating radiographic equipment and performing imaging procedures In-depth knowledge of standard practices in a radiology department Ability to produce clear, high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals Current BLS certification preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic imaging exams as ordered by physicians, including X-rays and related modalities Prepare and position patients appropriately to achieve optimal imaging results Maintain accurate documentation and update records in the department's information systems Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists for smooth workflow Keep imaging equipment clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition Support a patient-focused environment by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
