In this vital role, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, playing a central part in delivering high-quality MRI scans and upholding rigorous safety standards.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent credentials Completion of an accredited MRI Technology program Demonstrated experience with MRI equipment, patient positioning, and imaging protocols Knowledge of MRI safety procedures and ability to recognize contraindications Compassionate approach and clear communication skills for patient interactions Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment BLS certification (must be valid and current)
Core Responsibilities:
Perform detailed MRI scans according to physician orders, ensuring compliance with both facility and regulatory guidelines Prepare and screen patients for MRI procedures, explaining processes while maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of consistently high quality Adhere to all MRI safety standards, including screening for implants and devices Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to review imaging results and deliver timely, accurate information Document procedures, maintain records, and ensure all forms and releases are completed in compliance with regulations Contribute to infection prevention, equipment cleanliness, and overall department workflow This is an excellent opportunity to apply your imaging expertise and MRI competency in a professional, supportive healthcare environment.
