Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Take your expertise in MRI imaging to a well-equipped healthcare facility where your skills make a real impact every day. This contract position offers you the opportunity to operate the latest MRI technology while assisting a diverse patient population and working within a collaborative diagnostic imaging team.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current, valid certification as an MRI Technologist (required) Experience operating MRI scanners in a clinical setting Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and patient care procedures Proficiency with digital imaging equipment and PACS systems Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Detail-oriented and able to document accurately
Schedule:
Full-time hours Assigned shifts may include weekdays, evenings, or weekends based on department needs
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures according to safety standards Operate MRI equipment, ensuring consistent, high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation Screen patients for contraindications and explain exam processes clearly Maintain accurate, thorough records and patient histories Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to facilitate seamless diagnostic care Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with routine maintenance Uphold patient confidentiality and safeguard sensitive medical data You will enjoy a supportive work environment with the resources needed to provide compassionate, professional patient care.
