Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Elevate your career in medical imaging with this contract opportunity for an experienced Radiology Tech. This position is ideal for professionals who are skilled in imaging procedures and thrive in fast-paced healthcare settings, supporting excellent patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Active certification as a Radiological Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state licensure as required for radiographers Solid knowledge of radiographic equipment, safety protocols, and modern imaging techniques Previous experience performing diagnostic imaging (X-ray, fluoroscopy, etc.) Exceptional attention to detail in image quality and patient identification Strong communication and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and care teams Current BLS certification
Schedule/Hours:
Specific shifts and hours will be discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform accurate imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols Ensure proper positioning and comfort of patients throughout the exam process Maintain and calibrate radiological equipment; report malfunctions as needed Document patient information and procedure details in electronic health records Practice strict adherence to all health, safety, and infection control guidelines Collaborate with radiologists and other care providers to deliver optimal diagnostic images Assist with patient preparation and provide clear instructions to ensure safety and compliance This contracted role offers you the chance to broaden your clinical skills in a collaborative environment.
