Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated PRN-Radiologic Technologist XR/CT Tech to join our dynamic imaging team on a flexible, as-needed basis. In this vital role, you will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and computed tomography (CT), to assist in accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise will support a wide range of clinical settings such as emergency rooms, urgent care, and specialized imaging departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to exceptional patient care and diagnostic excellence. Responsibilities Perform high-quality radiologic procedures including X-ray, CT scans, PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, sonography, and nuclear medicine studies with precision and attention to detail. Ensure patient safety by adhering strictly to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols during all imaging procedures. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by capturing clear images that meet clinical requirements for accurate interpretation. Maintain thorough knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to optimize imaging techniques and improve diagnostic accuracy. Operate advanced imaging equipment within a Level I Trauma Center or Level II trauma center setting, supporting emergency medicine and urgent care needs. Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive diagnostic services in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms and urgent care centers. Document all procedures accurately in compliance with medical terminology standards and hospital policies. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, PET scan, mammography, DEXA scan, sonography, and nuclear medicine procedures. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for diagnostic radiology. Proven experience working in emergency room settings or Level I Trauma Centers with Level II trauma center experience preferred. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluation with attention to detail under pressure in urgent care or emergency environments. Familiarity with aseptic technique principles to ensure patient safety during invasive procedures when necessary. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and patient education. Certification in radiologic technology or equivalent credentials required; additional training in nuclear medicine or specialized imaging techniques is a plus.
