Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Take your expertise in imaging to the next level by supporting patient care through advanced radiological technologies. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Radiology or X-ray Technologist seeking a dynamic weekend schedule with no on-call duties required.
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. No call requirements
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Proven experience as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Technologist Strong technical skills in general radiology imaging procedures Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety Ensure proper positioning, technique, and equipment usage to capture high-quality images Communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients to coordinate imaging needs Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control policies Complete timely and thorough documentation within electronic health records Set up and maintain imaging rooms, ensuring cleanliness and preparedness for procedures Contribute positively to a patient-centered environment with compassion and professionalism This position provides an excellent chance to focus your skills in a supportive environment, with a dedicated weekend shift that allows work-life balance and the ability to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
