Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Set in the serene surroundings of Oakfield, GA, this travel MRI Technologist opportunity provides an excellent backdrop for both professional advancement and memorable leisure. Oakfield blends Southern charm with easy access to diverse outdoor pursuits and rich local culture—creating the perfect atmosphere for healthcare professionals eager to balance fulfilling work with exciting downtime. This assignment offers valuable hands-on experience in a progressive medical imaging department equipped with four scanners (staffing two, plus a mobile unit) and utilizing Siemens technology, with plans to incorporate Philips soon. Take your career to the next level through exposure to musculoskeletal, neuro, abdominal/pelvic, breast, and oncology imaging, as well as pacer, anesthesia, ICU, and NICU patient care. You'll work closely with seasoned leaders and be supported by a solid network of radiology supervisors and senior techs while collaborating with both in-house and remote radiologists.

7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
Professional Growth & Key Responsibilities:
Operate advanced Siemens MRI equipment (Philips experience a plus) Independently perform a variety of imaging procedures for a high volume of inpatients and outpatients Start IVs as required for imaging studies Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure high standards of patient care Utilize PACS (McKesson/Changed Health Care) and Meditech for workflow documentation Complete 1-2 weeks of robust, department-specific orientation
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1 year of MRI experience (open to first-time travelers) ARRT (MR) certification, BLS (AHA or ARC) Experience in trauma settings and with Siemens MRI equipment; Philips knowledge advantageous Comfort starting IVs and managing diverse patient populations
