Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a critical role supporting diagnostic imaging within a well-equipped healthcare environment. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled professional to perform MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality images to aid in patient diagnosis and care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI certified or equivalent) Minimum of 1 year recent experience in MRI imaging Strong understanding of MRI safety practices and procedures Proficiency with MRI equipment and related technology Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team BLS or CPR certification required Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for MRI scans, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment according to established protocols Monitor images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary Maintain precise documentation and patient records Assist radiologists and other physicians with image interpretation as needed Uphold all safety standards and infection control regulations Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate service calls if necessary This contract assignment enables you to engage with advanced imaging techniques in a supportive setting alongside caring professionals.
