Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Step into an essential healthcare role performing high-quality diagnostic imaging services and supporting accurate patient care. This position specializes in both CT and X-ray modalities, blending strong technical expertise with a commitment to patient safety and comfort. The contract role offers the chance to work on a skilled imaging team dedicated to delivering prompt, accurate medical results.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proficiency in operating both CT and standard X-ray equipment Valid, state-recognized license to practice as a radiologic technologist BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by medical staff, ensuring consistent image quality and patient safety Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns compassionately and professionally Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and workflow prioritization Follow all safety protocols regarding radiation exposure and infection control Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective, timely patient care
