Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role in diagnostic healthcare by becoming an integral part of an advanced imaging team as an MRI Technologist. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled professional ready to deliver top-notch patient care while utilizing cutting-edge MRI technology.
Key Qualifications:
Current, valid certification as a registered MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Demonstrated expertise operating MRI equipment and interpreting imaging results. Skilled in patient positioning and ensuring safety standards throughout imaging procedures. Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare staff. Previous experience as an MRI Tech in a busy healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
Schedule:
Contract position with set hours, details to be discussed during the interview process.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician instructions. Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and addressing concerns. Monitor patients during imaging for comfort and safety, implementing emergency procedures if necessary. Ensure accuracy and clarity in image capture for diagnostic use. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and discuss imaging findings. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in adherence to departmental policies.
